Behind the scenes at Bogart’s Bowling - 11/20/2022

On Sunday November 20th, the Wild Wescotts 4-H club met at Bogart’s Bowling alley in Apple Valley.

The meeting was called to order at 10:45am by Eldora Grommesch. Following pledges, roll call was taken. All in all, there were about 30 people present.

Old business included reminders to enroll in 4-H for any families who have not already done so, and an invitation for youth in grade 6 and up to join the youth leadership team. Also, reminders that on our upcoming events can be found on the calendar.

Under new business, the club is seeking input on programming. We have an opportunity to receive funds from Dakota County to support programming. Families can reach out with their input and we’ll table any decisions to a later date.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:54am and the club continued to their planned activity. Bogart’s owner Scott provided an overview of the Bowling Businees operations. He was a wealth of information! Then, as tamiles took to the bowling lanes, Scott invited smaller groups to a tour of the lanes. We got to see how the pin-setters work, how a ball return operates and more!
