The meeting of the Wild Wescotts 4-H Club was called to order by Eldora Grommesch. This was a meeting to our planned activity, dog sledding and learning about Siberian Huskies.


At: 9:57 a.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022, in-person at Silent Run Adventures, Eldora Grommesch led the Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H Pledge.


Role Call: 13 members answered roll call by saying their favorite winter activity.


Action on Previous Meeting’s Minutes: Eldora Grommesch directed members to the Wild Wescotts website where the minutes of the previous meeting (12/12) are available for everyone to read and review.


Treasurer’s Report: NA


Correspondences: NA


Other Reports: NA


Old Business: last month, the Wild Wescotts club participated in an escape room at the Mall of America. It was a blast, and we successfully escaped!


  • February we are planning an aerospace-themed activity—still working out details

  • March we are rock climbing

  • NO meeting in April

  • May—currently it is International Pen Pals and we’re seeking a motion to change to “Project Day.”

    • The motion has passed with a unanimous vote. Our May meeting has been officially changed to “Project Day”


Next Meeting: February 2022


Meeting Adjourned: 10:04 a.m with a motion, second, and unanimous vote.


Following the meeting, club members participated in learning a bit about Siberian Huskies, and went dog sledding at Silent Run Adventures. Members were also permitted to explore the barn there and learn about the various animals, including several kinds of chickens, turkeys, kittens, alpacas, rabbits, and goats.
