Minutes 12/12/21

The meeting of the Wild Wescotts 4-H Club was called to order by Eldora Grommesch. This was a meeting to our planned activity, a scavenger hunt and escape room at the Mall of America.

At: 1:07 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021, in-person at the Mall of America, Eldora Grommesch led the Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H Pledge.

Role Call: 4 members answered roll call.

Action on Previous Meeting’s Minutes: Eldora Grommesch read the minutes of the previous meeting, on 10/17. The minutes were approved as read with a motion and a second.

Other Reports: NA

Old Business: Please remember to enroll in 4H and pay your dues. Also, there are Youth Leadership opportunities for members in grades 6 and up. Please let us know if you’re interested!

New Business:

• Reminder to please sign up for dog sledding on MLK day using the sign up genius if you’re interested.

• A motion to extend the dog sledding invitation to Dakota County Dog Project members was approved.

• Our logo design was decided, and club T-shirts/hats options were covered—we will set up a sign up genius for ordering them.

• In February, there will be an aerospace meeting. Planning is in progress—contact us with ideas!

Project demonstration: an embroidered necklace shown by Eldora Grommesch. Members asked her questions regarding the project in preparation for the County Fair.

Following the meeting, club members participated in an escape room and a scavenger hunt at the Mall of America.
